Amanda Forman

Amanda, (also known as Mandy or Meeb), Forman is a photographer based on the Gower Peninsular, Wales

She uses a Panasonic Lumix DMZ50 and a Sony Cyber-shot "and have yet to learn about digital manipulation. Being abit of a technology ostrich i only succumed to a mobile phone last year and this is my first computer!"

Amanda says "Photography for me is very much a hobby which seems to really have evolved along side my other love which is painting, mainly using acryllics. My main influences in the artistic world in general are Marc Chagall and Edvard Munch and photographically i'm just inspired by the environment around me and attempting to capture energy and spirit. The Gower peninsula is a magical, inspiring place to live, with amazing variety of habitats from sandy beaches, jagged cliff tops, marches, rivers and streams and grazed common land. I enjoy the simple things in life and spend time tending an allotment, baking cakes and chilling out with my hubby and two cats."
