Photographer Emli Bendixen was born in South Korea and grew up in Denmark. She now lives in London, England

Emli "finds inspiration in movement - in people and nature, in light leaks and shadows, the past, the present, patterns and colours; Lee Miller, Nan Goldin, Mary Ellen Mark, Wolfgang Tillmans, Carson McCullers, Mary Gaitskill, Djuna Barnes and Archi Wil amongst others..."

She uses a Canon EOS 300 and EOS 30, a Minolta XD7, and "a charming little Holga"
