Karina Skvirsky

Karina Aguilera Skvirsky is a photographer and video artist. Recently her work was exhibited at the Aldrich Museum, CT, Sara Melzter Gallery, NY, Grossman Gallery, PA and Momenta Art, NY. She has participated in numerous residencies including : MacDowell Colony, NH, Smack Mellon, NY, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Workspace Residency, NY, and The Banff Centre for Art, Canada among others. She is currently working on a new project, Memories of Development, that is being supported through grants from the Mellon Foundation, The National Association of Latino Arts and Culture and the Urban Artist Initiative project. Skvirsky is an Assistant Professor at Lafayette College. She received her MFA from Indiana University and her BA from Oberlin College." previous
