Renee Chartier

Renee Chartier is a photographer based in Providence, USA

Her favorite photographers are Martina Mullaney, Alec Soth, David Hillard and William Eggleston

Renee currently uses a Canon 40D, but has enjoyed a Mamiya 7II as well as various Polaroid and Holga cameras

Renee says "I photograph to understand and transform the mundane. I am as much a sociologist as a photographer, and it is the banal connection of photography to our society which draws me to the medium."
